Vanessa Lindgren Interview – At Loudoun Podcast Magazine

Thank you Mike Donaldson of All Things Loudoun and his podcast show. A lot of fun being interviewed by you, talking about hypnosis, EFT tapping and my passions. You really took amazing interest and asked me fabulous questions.

While at boarding school in England, Vanessa read several books on hypnosis. She practiced her self-taught hypnosis skills on her friends.

When the Headmaster heard what Vanessa was doing, she was expelled for a semester. Vanessa was only allowed to return if she promised to not hypnotize anyone. She kept her promise to the Headmaster, but as soon as she graduated, she began studying the practice.

Fast forward to today and Vanessa is now a Certified Hypnotist since 1994. Vanessa brings twenty plus licensed years of experience, skill, and wisdom in helping and guiding her patients reach their goals.

Vanessa is trained in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Ericksonian metaphoric techniques.

She is also a huge supporter of Emotional Freedom Technique, or EFT, (also known as Tapping). This is a psychological acupressure technique that can be used to help:

  • Remove negative emotions
  • Reduce food cravings
  • Reduce or eliminate pain
  • Implement positive goals
  • Re-wire stuck thinking
  • Remove phobias
  • Calm anxiety
  • Assists greatly with OCD
  • And SO much more…

Vanessa is honored and privileged to be one of the very few hypnotherapists nationwide working directly in a medical Doctor’s office. Dr. Martha Calihan, from Five Stones Healing Arts & Wellness Center, believes greatly in the power of mind body medicine.
